Breaking this sturdy earth brown palette are the signature Burger and Bones bands: deep ocean blue, light land flesh, and reddish adventurous sky, representing the waters we cross, the ground we walk, and the horizons we chase.
“Originally designed with rugged peaks, but the nylon fabric kept breaking on the machine, so the design was simplified into three powerful bands. This design tells the story of the artist’s struggle with the medium to realize the original design. In the end, the mountains win, reminding us that we can never truly conquer mountains.”
